Skye W.'s Doily Pattern
(New sections will be added as they
become available.)
Center:
Designed and Tatted by Skye as follows:
General
- This piece is directionally-tatted. When tatting on the
"front-side", use normal double-stitches and when tatting on the
"back-side", use the reverse stitch (do the second hitch first
then the first hitch to make up the double-stitch). When joining from the
"front-side", pull loop from the back to front and when joining
from the "back-side", pull the loop from the
"back-side" to the "front-side".
Special - This pattern requires two shuttles due the rings on
chains and Self-Closing Mock Rings. To make a SCMR (Self-Closing Mock
Ring), leave a loop large enough to pass shuttle through with the working
shuttle thread at the beginning of SCMR. When SCMR fragments are complete,
pass the working shuttle through the beginning SCMR loop and close.
